My main research area at Zurich focuses on competition between pterosaurs and extinct avialans (birds and close relatives) through functional and ecological character mapping and phylogenetic reconstructions of trait data.

My other current projects include:

• Reconstructing diets of modern and extinct reptiles
• Taxonomy and systematics of Triassic reptiles from Switzerland
• Body proportions of modern and extinct synapsids
